this mix was recorded live on 14/1/09 @ the skyclub tulum mexico a roof top club with a wicked vibe and when it rains it go's crazy man like a pool party..i was there for 6 weeks over christmas..this was just one of many a good night..one more night was new years eve @ palya azul what a night the picture in my 1st podcast is of that party...tulum is one of the most beautiful places on earth...if you ever get a chance to go there do it will change your life..i know |
About rob jeffreyDj Rob Jeffrey... from north london(england) i got in to music around 1983 stuff like africa bambarta,run dmc,man parish but it was double dee and steinski that really got me thinking about mixing me and my friends use to mess around mixing from tape to tape and then a few years down the line came house thats when it really got me..i started going to warehouse partys and clubs the music was like something i had never witnessed before the sound of the 303 the bass...from then it was all about the house muisc over the years i'v played in lots of places the one that always comes to mind is a party at one of pablo escobars(the film with jonny depp blow) old houses in mexico and i'v also had the chance to play along side some good djs to like lee burridge,dj fermix,dj druid,paul gardener,alex morales,dj ore,igor torres,vicky brooker,steve letiger ect etc.....
